This was a logo that I designed for a client called Rogue Reptiles Breeders. They are a ball python breeding facility in South Africa. They had a very clear understanding of what they liked and wanted from their logo. They knew they wanted to incorporate the shape of a ball python as well as a symbol that the client has been inspired by since childhood. The symbol is of Asian descent and we can see its use of it in the shape of the tail in the logo.
The main objectives were to create clear branding for the brand Rogue Reptiles in the minds of the consumer. To create an instantly recognizable logo. To position the brand correctly in the market. To create a world-class website. To create a relatable and friendly brand that resonates with consumers.
I had done a few variations of the logo itself before the final design was chosen. The client was inspired and chose one which stood out more than the rest. A few small tweaks and colour changes were made and are currently still being used.
Overall this was an extremely fun and satisfying brief to work on and the design itself was well received by the community and social media.
I used Illustrator to create and concept the initial designs for the logo. I then created various layouts and creative executions in Figma. Photoshop was used to colour correct images which needed to be added to the designs
